Chinatown enjoys a taste of the Dragon Boat Festival on October 19th

Head to Golden Harvest at 15-16 Gerrard Street on October 19th for a dining experience like no other: a meal directly beside a legendary Chinese dragon boat. Belonging to the Sun Lik Raging Dragons race team, the 40-foot vessel's installation in Golden Harvest is a celebration of the capital's annual Dragon Boat Race and a chance to experience something remarkable at one of Chinatown's slickest dining venues.

Visit on Monday 19th October between 12pm and 3am to savour delicacies including authentic handmade dim sum prepared by chefs flown in especially from Hong Kong. Uncompromisingly authentic, these sumptuous morsels will be on offer to clued-up Londoners throughout the day, as will complimentary Sun Lik beer to enjoy whilst surveying the spectacular boat.

In the evening, there's a special gala dinner where diners can watch a judging panel choose the winners of a photography competition from 2009's Dragon Boat Festival, which took place in June. With a spectacular array of authentic Cantonese dishes and gourmet foods on offer, it'll pay to race over to Golden Harvest for the evening.
