Share your shots of Chinese New Year to win a lucky red Panasonic Lumix
Chinese New Year is a serious visual spectacle - and we want you to share your views of the celebrations with us. We're creating the UK's largest Chinese New Year photo gallery here at chinatownlondon.org and we've got a Panasonic ZX1 Digital camera - in bright red for New Year's luck - for the contributor of our favourite photo. So give us your best shot, whether it's a lion dancer, a firework display or you and your family tucking into food at a street stall.
Just upload your photo using the simple uploader below. Images should be in jpeg format, less than 3MB in size.
The closing date for entries for this competition is midnight on Sunday, March 21st.
This competition is open to residents of the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland.
It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Entries should be submitted via the uploader at URL. Image files should be no larger than 3MB. We regret that we are unable to accept postal entries.
All entries must be received by the advertised closing time and date.
All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws.
Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to chinatownlondon.org to feature any or all of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition.
The winner will be notified within seven days of the closing date of the competition.
One entrant shall win a Panasonic Lumix ZX1 camera, provided by chinatownlondon.org. The prize is subject to availability.
The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
